PRESS RELEASE: The Inn on Loch Lomond – New Owner

The Inn on Loch Lomond an iconic family-owned historic inn that has been trading since 2008 by the previous owner has recently changed ownership late January 2023.

The Inn on Loch Lomond is a cosy, romantic and atmospheric property which first opened in 1814 as a the Inverbeg Inn, Ferry Inn and Later the Inn on Loch Lomond serving as a watering hole to generations of travellers heading north and south along the route of the A82.

It is nestled close to the banks of Loch Lomond, off the A82 in Inverbeg and just minutes away from Luss and shopping outlets like Loch Lomond Shores in Balloch.

The majority of rooms have open views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. It has retained its traditional charm and has been honoured with a stylish and contemporary refurbishment and now boasts modern accommodation, uniquely stylised public spaces, a fantastic restaurant and bar with natural furnishings and of course a roaring fire.

The Inn Bar & Restaurant will continue to offer an all-day dining menu from 12 until 9pm, so whether it’s a light bite for lunch or a more comforting 3 course dinner you are after there is a wide selection of local and seasonal dishes to suit and sample. Our folk music and live music entertainment will also continue over 2023 on Friday and Saturday’s 8pm till 11am.

Loch Lomond is also the perfect location for an active, sporting holiday as well as a relaxing break. There are boat trips on the loch, opportunities to go sailing, canoeing, SUP boarding, fishing as well as hill climbing, walking, hiking or cycling through the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
