Getting to Loch Lomond

From Glasgow Airport
Take the Greenock exit onto the M8, follow the signs for the Erskine Bridge, take the Dumbarton/Crianlarich exit onto the A82 and follow the signs for the North. The road will take you through Dumbarton and onto the Alexandria bypass. At the next roundabout, continue north on the A82 for 8-10 miles. You will pass the signpost for the village of Luss, carry on for further 5/6 miles and the Inn at Inverbeg is on the left.

From Glasgow
From the city centre, join the M8 westbound. Leave at junction 30 on to the A898, following the signs for the Erskine Bridge and Crianlarich, then proceed as above

From Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport
On leaving Edinburgh, take the M9 towards Stirling, take exit 10 following the tourist route signs to Loch Lomond, this takes you onto the A811, remain on this road, following the signs to Balloch. At Balloch follow the sings for A82 and at junction head north for Crianlarich.. Continue north on the A82 for 8-10 miles. You will pass the signpost for the village of Luss, carry on for further 5/6 miles and the Inn at Inverbeg is on the left.

From the South
Follow the M6/A74 north until it meets the M8 then follow the directions above.

The Inn On Loch Lomond is just over 30 minutes by road from Glasgow Airport, the busiest of Scotland’s three main international airports. Over 40 airlines serve around 80 destinations and, in July 2004, it became the first Scottish airport to handle over one million passengers in a month. Major airlines using the airport include British Airways (BA), FlyBE, Easyjet, KLM, BMI Baby, Icelandair, Continental Airlines, SAS and FlyGlobespan.

Facilities
Facilities at Glasgow Airport include ATMs, a bureau de change, a post office, shops, bars and restaurants. A business centre in the terminal offers meeting rooms, secretarial support, telephones, fax machines and Internet connectivity. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs are advised to inform their airline or travel agent in advance.

Car rental
Alamo, Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National are represented at the airport.

Taxis are available outside the terminal 24 hours a day. The taxi fare from Glasgow Airport to The Inn On Loch Lomond is approximately £50.
