How many times have you booked a family holiday – a special treat, maybe an end-of-school-term getaway – only to be met with the saddest puppy eyes from your beloved pup or dog?

Gone are the days of leaving Fido with the neighbours or booking him/her into an expensive kennel while you enjoy a much-needed holiday. At The Inn on Loch Lomond, we understand that pets are family, too, which is why we’re thrilled to introduce our new dog-friendly accommodation in Inverbeg by Loch Lomond in Scotland.

We get that absolutely…lots of dog lovers here around Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.  While much of Loch Lomond is covered by National Park, there is also plenty of walking paths where dogs are welcome. Many of our local cafes, activities and other great Loch Lomond experiences are pet friendly – in fact, you may well find an enthusiastic four-legged welcoming committee at quite a number of them!

For many of us, it’s not a staycation or holiday if the whole family, including the 4-legged kind, can’t come too! Fortunately, we have a selection of dog friendly areas in our restaurant and bar.  Some of our dog friendly rooms have specified pet sizes and numbers, and some restrictions are in place, so please ensure you read all of our communications and terms & conditions so you’re completely in the loop. In general, there’s a grassed area within the hotels boundary and an outdoor seating area to allow your pet to roam securely outside, making it dog friendly.
